The Use of Cell Therapies for Autoimmune Diseases: CAR-T

COURSE OVERVIEW

The 1.5-day in-person Cell Therapies for Autoimmune Diseases: CAR-T Course is designed for clinicians, clinical scientists, medical students, and researchers dedicated to translating CAR-T cell therapies from research to clinical practice. Led by pioneers in CAR-T cell development and application, including Bruce Levine, Georg Schett, and Franco Locatelli, the course focuses on the application of CAR-T cell therapies for autoimmune diseases, including severe lupus, myositis, systemic sclerosis, juvenile dermatomyositis, multiple sclerosis, and more.

The course will examine targeted biological therapies and discuss the challenges and solutions associated with CAR-T cell treatments in these conditions, including regulatory requirements and manufacturing processes, through expert-led real-world case studies, success stories, and insights into the latest clinical advancements. Additionally, attendees will develop an understanding of existing registries, reports, and data analysis relevant to CAR-T cell clinical applications.

By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and practical tools necessary to drive the clinical translation of CAR-T cell therapies in treating autoimmune diseases.
