As global citizens and professional clinicians, regulators, researchers, technologists and industry partners in over 60 countries on 6 continents, our ISCT values embody research, translation and clinical development supporting and sustaining life and treating disease. Our hearts are filled with sadness at the horrific events accompanying the unprovoked and unjustified invasion of Ukraine. Many of our members have relatives or friends in the areas of conflict. With mounting civilian casualties, hundreds of thousands of refugees, shortages and absence of access to medicines and healthcare, the humanitarian crisis unfolding must be countered by the support for innocent civilians in solidarity with the free nation and people of Ukraine. May this catastrophe soon yield to ceasefire, tranquility, and peace.
