Update from the 2021-2022 ISCT Early Stage Professionals (ESP) Mentoring Program
"ENGAGE"
The 93 mentees and 50 mentors participating in the 2021/2022 ISCT ESP Mentoring Program are now several months into their monthly mentorship meetings.
Based on feedback from previous program participants, this year’s program includes additional opportunities for mentees and mentors to connect outside of their mentorship pairings. On February 21, the program hosted the virtual Expert Drop-in Event with ISCT CGT Leaders which provided the opportunity for ISCT ESP Members to hear career guiding perspectives and ask questions to leaders in the field. Breakout rooms provided a small group discussion setting and were each centered around the topics of:
- Industry – Day in the life. Work lifestyles at small biotech and large pharma
- Lab Operations – People, products, processes, procedures, premises
- Clinical – Exploring pathways from clinical trial to developer
- Regulatory – Keys to building therapies to succeed in clinical trials
- Commercialization – Making it happen: business aspects in product development

Program participants will continue their mentorship meetings and this year’s program wrap up meeting will take place in-person at ISCT 2022 in San Francisco!
