This issue’s Laboratory Practice Committee (LPC) Snapshot comes from long-standing ISCT members Diane Kadidlo and J. Wade Atkins. Diane Kadidlo is the Director for Molecular and Cellular Therapeutics at the University of Minnesota and the Technical Supervisor of the University of Minnesota Medical Center Cell Therapy Laboratory. Wade Atkins is the Supervisor of the DTM QA/RA at the National Institutes of Health. Their snapshot is entitled, “Identifying and Mitigating Common Issues When Bringing on Industry-Sponsored Technologies.” In this slide deck, they address problems that can arise during a tech transfer process and share solutions to consider. They also discuss how a solid Quality Agreement can be utilized to address challenges before they arise and share a valuable link to the ISCT-AABB Quality Agreement Template.
