Clinical Translation Committee

Charter

The ISCT Clinical Translation Committee gathers experts across multiple disciplines to strategically discuss and address current challenges and offer potential solutions to clinical translation across the cell and gene therapy field.

Further, the Committee identifies and addresses cell and gene therapy market class issues through the curation of educational resources.

Goals & Objectives

1. Monitor developments in the field of cell and gene therapy to identify nascent areas moving toward clinical translation.

2. Systematically address issues impeding:

   1. The successful conduct of clinical studies; and

   2. The ability of these therapeutics to reach patients

3. Lead the development of projects and initiatives to address barriers to clinical translation in the cell and gene therapy field. Recruit and coordinate support from other ISCT Committees when applicable

4. Provide opinion, and expertise that is applicable to those leading clinical development projects
   
   

Scope

The CGT Translation Committee scope will include, but not limited to, the following sector-wide issues and topics:

-          Harmonized Clinical Trial Design; including execution

-          Product Development Strategy

-          Global Regulatory Strategy

-          Patient Access & Advocacy
