ISCT Workforce Development Committee

Charter

The ISCT Workforce Development Committee will provide strategic guidance to identify, develop and deliver ISCT training and development programs to address current skills gaps in CGT translation.

Programs will focus on the specific needs of professions based on their region, industry, and skill level to support the sustainable growth of the cell and gene therapy sector as a whole.

The Workforce Development Committee scope will include, but not limited to, the following areas of focus in translational science:

  • Clinical research professionals including clinical coordinators
  • Physician scientists
  • Research scientists
  • Technologists
  • Regulatory/quality professionals
  • Manufacturing professionals
  • High school students through completion of Early Stage Professionals
