ISCT welcomed fifteen scholars from around the world to the University of Pennsylvania Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine – and its unparalleled 15th-floor view of Philadelphia – to participate in the fifth iteration of the Cell Therapy Leadership Training Course (CTTC). The scholars were mentored by a cadre of expert course faculty members and world-renown speakers who shared the ins and outs of therapeutic development from preclinical studies to commercialization. Through 1:1 mentoring discussions, scholars also refined project proposals to expedite the clinical translation of their novel therapeutics and manufacturing processes.
Telegraft contributing editor, Dr. Ashley Krull, Ph.D., who served as a course faculty member, reunited seven scholars virtually to share their experiences from their week to inform and inspire potential applicants. Enjoy hearing their candid, insightful takes on the CTTC and what they got out of a full, but fulfilling, week.
To learn more about the CTTC, please visit the website: Cell Therapy Leadership Training Program - ISCT Workforce Development. Applications for the next cohort of scholars will open in the second half of 2026.
