The Telegraft is proud to feature Dr. David Wald, MD, Ph.D., a physician-scientist at Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Wald is a Professor in the Department of Pathology, Co-Leader of the Immune Oncology Program at Case Comprehensive Cancer Center, and Associate Director of the MSTP Program at the School of Medicine. Notably, Dr. Wald received the Top Abstract Award at this year’s ISCT Annual Meeting in New Orleans for his abstract entitled, “Development and Clinical Validation of a Less Than 1 Day CAR-T Manufacturing Process.” (1) This platform represents a potential breakthrough in making CAR-T cell therapy faster, safer, and more accessible.
