Dr. Ashley Krull, PhD spoke with Dr. Hannah Song, PhD, winner of the ISCT 2023 Paris Top Scoring Abstract.
Dr. Hannah Song is a Biologist in the Product Development group in the Center for Cellular Engineering at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. She earned her PhD in Chemical and Biological Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and then went on to a postdoc at the Georgia Institute of Technology designing materials for T and B cell manufacturing. She joined the NIH in 2020 and has focused on CAR-T manufacturing for phase I clinical trials.
Hannah received the top-scoring abstract award for her submission titled "CAR-T Cells Manufactured via Positive and Negative Immunomagnetic T Cell Selection Show Different Tumour Killing Rates, Cytokine Profiles, and γδ T Cell Output."
