Dr. Renault was a first-time Annual Meeting attendee who was awarded the Top Abstract Award, which is an incredible achievement. Dr. Renault gave us more information on the study supporting her award-winning abstract entitled “First-in-Man Treatment of Heart Failure by a Cardiovascular Cell-Derived Secretome.” Dr. Renault details the GMP-compliant process of differentiating cardiovascular progenitor cells from induced pluripotent stem cells and then isolating the secretome for treatment of patients.
