Eligibility Criteria: Nominees for the Early Stage Professional (ESP) Spirit of ISCT Award are considered eligible provided they fulfill the following criteria:
- Practice in one of the three pillars of value of the Society: Academia, Regulatory (including Quality and Operations), or Industry
- Must be an Early Stage Professional* ISCT Member at the time of nomination
- Has contributed to the global field of cell and gene therapy, through service with the Society
- The Awardee must be an ISCT member at the time of public acceptance of the award
- Nominee must be an individual and cannot be a member of the ISCT Nomination Committee
- The Award shall not be conferred posthumously
Nomination and Selection Process:
- Nominators
- The nominator must be a current ISCT member
- The nominator may not be a current member of the Awards Committee nor the Board of Directors
- Nominations may be submitted via the ISCT Awards web portal or emailed to isct@isctglobal.org before the deadline
- Nominations must include:
- Name of nominee, designation and affiliations
- Name of nominator and contact details
- Rationale for nomination (achievements, impact of contributions in helping to expand and promote the mission and vision of ISCT) (< 500 words)
- CV and/or additional nomination materials may be requested by the Awards Committee
- The deadline for nominations is February 7, 2024
- The Awards Committee will evaluate candidates on their achievement(s) and overall contribution to the Society.
- A recommendation will be submitted by the Awards Committee to the Board of Directors for final consideration and approval.
- Selection of the Recipient will be made based solely on the merit of their scientific accomplishments without regard to race, gender, nationality or religious or political views
*Early Stage Professional (ESP) is an individual within 10 years of terminal degree or entry into the field of cell therapy
