COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement

Vaccination Requirement

ISCT requires all meeting attendees including staff to either be “Up to date” vaccinated" OR “Fully vaccinated” with proof of a negative COVID-19 test.

What does 'Up to Date Vaccinated' mean?

“Up to date vaccinated" is currently defined as a person that has completed the initial cycle as well as received a booster when eligible.

What does 'Fully Vaccinated" mean?

“Fully vaccinated" is currently defined as a person who has completed the primary cycle (i.e. two shots for Moderna & Pfizer, 1 shot of J&J) of a WHO approved vaccine at least 14 days past the final administration of the second dose of a two-dose series (Moderna/Pfizer) or single dose administration (J&J).

Beginning 1 February 2022 proof of a negative COVID-19 test can replace the formerly mandated requirement for a booster.

Vaccination Verification

ISCT will require proof of COVID-19 vaccination for all participants attending the ISCT 2022 Annual Meeting in San Francisco.

ISCT is partnering with Safe Expo for vaccination verification services to make your entry to the meeting faster, safer, and more secure. Attendees will be required to upload their proof of vaccination cards to a secure vaccination verification portal before the event.

Vaccine Requirement

ISCT will require proof of COVID-19 vaccination for all participants attending the ISCT 2022 Annual Meeting in San Francisco.

ISCT is partnering with Safe Expo for vaccination verification services. Safe Expo provides secure, digital proof of your vaccination status via the Safe Pass portal. You need to complete this process no later than April 25, 2022, as it can take between one and two working days for your vaccination status to be checked.

Safe Expo will verify each attendee’s vaccination prior to the event. Each submission will receive an email with a PURPLE or ORANGE verification within (2) business days of the upload. Please check your junk/spam folder should you not receive within 2 days.

SafeExpo Vaccine Upload Portal

Your vaccination verification will be a PDF attachment with a purple or orange screen.

  • Purple confirmation = indicates you have satisfied vaccination and booster requirements to access the event without providing a negative COVID-19 test.
  • Orange confirmation = indicates you are required to present a negative COVID-19 test, upon entry to the venue for the first time (please refer to the FAQs to determine what qualifies as an acceptable negative COVID-19 test)

Note: The ISCT reserves the right to deny venue entry to any attendee or vendor who does not provide the appropriate paperwork or cannot provide a negative COVID-19 test result (if applicable)

Included below are instructions for each option so that you can choose the process that makes the most sense for you.

Note: Safe Expo does not retain your proof of vaccination once it has been reviewed and approved.

Step 1: If you don’t already have an image of your vaccination document, make sure to take a clear photo and save it to the device you are using to complete this process. Should your proof of booster documentation be separate from the initial series, include both documents together in one photo.
Step 2: Navigate to the vaccination verification upload portal and select Start.
Step 3: Enter your name (this should match your government issued ID)
Step 4: Enter your email address.
Step 5: Select “Upload Now” to get to the upload page.
Step 6: Select “Choose File” and navigate to the JPEG or PNG image of your vaccination documentation stored on your computer or device.
Step 7: Select the image file and click “Upload.” Note: JPEG and PNG are the only acceptable file formats for upload.
Step 8: Verify your image has uploaded correctly and displays in the image preview box and select “Next.”

You will then be taken to a page indicating that your proof of vaccination has been uploaded. Your document will be reviewed within 2 business days. Once approved, you will receive an email notice with your purple or orange verification PDF.

You will need an electronic or paper copy of your purple health pass PDF, along with a government issued picture ID, when you arrive at the Moscone West Convention Center to pick up your registration badge.

If you do not receive vaccination verification via email confirmation in 1-2 business days, you may return to the portal and re-enter your email address to check on the status of your verification.
