Visa Information

*** IMPORTANT:

Obtaining a visa to the United States may take longer than usual. If you need a visa to enter the United States, please register for the ISCT 2025 Annual Meeting early so you can apply for your visa as soon as possible.

TRAVELLING TO THE US (NON-US CITIZENS)

ISCT 2025 Annual Meeting will be held in New Orleans, USA. The United States Government requires residents of some countries to obtain a visa before entering the U.S.  The information below provides details for prospective international attendees traveling to the United States.

Depending on your nationality and the duration of your stay in the United States, it may be necessary for you to obtain a specific type of visa:

The Visa Waiver Program (VWP) enables most citizens or nationals of certain countries to travel to the United States for tourism or business for stays of 90 days. Inbound travelers who are traveling from Visa Waiver Program countries are required to register online via the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) website, click here for more information.

Inbound travelers who are travelling from countries that are not part of the Visa Waiver Program will need to obtain a visa at the American Embassy, Consulate, or other visa-issuing offices in their country of origin.

The following items are needed for your visa application:

  1. A valid passport (valid for at least six months beyond your stay in the United States)
  2. A Visa Application Support Letter (see below on how to obtain this letter from ISCT)
  3. A completed Form DS-160 and other necessary documents

DOES ISCT PROVIDE VISA SUPPORT LETTER?

Visa support letters are available for delegates upon request.

Upon completion of registration, please reach out to meetings@isctglobal.org to submit your visa support letter request.

ISCT will issue individual application support letters with no exceptions. Please also note that ISCT will only issue visa application support letters to those applicants who have paid their registration fee in full.

I registered for the meeting but now I’m unable to obtain a visa, can I receive a refund?

Refunds for registration due to visa rejections are handled on a case-by-case basis. In such situations, we kindly ask for proof of your visa application and subsequent rejection, which will enable us to process a refund for your registration.
